Julie Nethercutt, Psy.D., HSPP
Julie is a Clinical Psychologist with experience in private practice, community mental health and inpatient psychiatric facilities, as well as consultation in nursing homes and medical practices. She works with individuals, families and couples, and tends to use cognitive-behavioral treatment strategies, while including a systems approach to case conceptualization. She addresses a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, health and wellness, academic underachievement and stress related to issues such as relationships, work, finances, parenting, abuse, loss or illness. She is also experienced in psychological testing. Julie graduated from Manchester College in 1987 and completed her masters and doctorate degrees at Forest Institute of Professional Psychology. She completed her internship at Park Center, Inc. in Fort Wayne, IN and has been licensed as a Clinical Psychologist since 1993. She is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA). Julie is married and has two teenage children.
