Kelly Nunez, MA

Kelly provides counseling to children, adolescents, and adults through individual and family counseling sessions. Kelly uses a combination of cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused approaches to work with clients on different issues that they may be struggling with. Kelly also enjoys using therapy with play and believes it is a successful technique where the child's natural means of expression, namely play, is used as a therapeutic method to assist him/ her in coping with emotional stress or trauma. Kelly completed and obtained her Bachelor's in Psychology along with Child Development and Family Studies from Purdue University in 2002. She attended Indiana University Purdue University of Fort Wayne for her graduate work and obtained her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2007. Kelly has experience in the areas of suicide intervention, crisis intervention, rape survivor advocate training and domestic violence.
